About Raw Denim

Raw denim is untreated and will shrink to its true size — expect approximately 1/2" in the waist and 1–1.5" in length after the first wash. We recommend buying your standard Kimes Ranch size to allow for the perfect fit once washed.

During the first few wears, excess dye may transfer onto skin, upholstery, garments, shoes, and saddles. For the first few washes, wash inside out, by themselves, in cold water to help the dye distribute evenly and minimize transfer.
